Claudette Tandoc

Family Life and Child Development Specialist

Professor Katherine Claudette A. Tandoc, also known as Teacher Claude, has been teaching young children and college students for more than 25 years.

She taught in the college & graduate programs of the Department of Family Life & Child Development (FLCD) at the University of the Philippines- Diliman for 6 years, followed by a 10-year teaching experience at the De La Salle University-Manila. She was also a full-time faculty member of National University for one year and a half, teaching professional education and Early Childhood education subjects to college and graduate students; and a former part-time faculty at San Beda College - Alabang, and Olivarez College- Paranaque. Currently, teacher Claude is an online part -time faculty of Trinity University of Asia.

She is a curriculum consultant of various schools in Metro Manila, and a resource person for Wyeth Philippines, conducting lectures and workshops for pediatricians nationwide. Teacher Claude regularly gives parenting seminars and teacher training-workshops.

She is a resource person for radio programs such as DWDD Voice of the Teachers, and DZMM Teleradyo SAKTO.

She has earned her Bachelor of Arts major in Psychology at the University of St. La Salle, Bacolod City, and Master of Family Life and Child Development at the University of the Philippines, Diliman. She is on her 3rd year of doctorate degree, taking up Ph.D. in SPED, in the University of Perpetual Help, Las Pinas Campus.
